Ok so my dads friend has an F150 with dual tanks and for some reason it won't switch to the rear tank. Has anyone had this happen or have information, weather it has to 2 pumps or something? Any help or input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Early trucks had 3 pumps. 1 on frame rail and one in each tank. Later trucks got rid of the frame rail pump. It's a simple setup, checkball valve on both pumps and which ever one gets voltage from the switch runs. Check the switch and the relays.

Sounds like the old Chevy setup. My truck doesn't have that.
