Harness mounts

We need to change our mounts and were wondering if these were within the rules. I don't have my SCORE rulebook, but did check B.I.T.D.'s rules and it was not clear. Wanted to know if these snap-in type of mounts were within the rules or do they need to be the bolt-in style? Thanks.

99% sure they are legal. i opted to cut the bolt part off and weld the eyelet in to the cage. better than drilling a big 'ol hole in my cage

They are legal, but you must safety wire that little hole to make them legal.

On our car we just cut the threads off and welded them into our cage at the desired points. We use the clip in simpson belts with a cotter pin to keep them locked in and we have been fine in tech with this set-up.

in my old 7-s truck I drilled the hole but welded both sides not using the nut and washer for double the protection http://www.race-dezert.com/vb3/attachments/old/images/graemlins/smile.gif
