I recently came across this race frame in the classifieds.
Does anyone know anything about it?

I am currently in the process of getting and putting a class 9 car together. Any info or car leads would be helpful. Thanks

I hate to burst your bubble if you were thinking that is a 9 car. That is a 1600 and most likely it is set up for IRS and a link front end. It would put money on the fact that it is also to long.

With that said it can be converted to a 9 car but that is really going to take some time and money redoing the chassis.

Well it was worth a shot. So what should I look for when looking for a class 9 car? I know it has to have a 100" wheelbase. So from what point from what point to I need to measure?

the car was built in 2004 and I stopped racing it in the middle of last year because I built my single seater. I will be bringing it to the MORE race next saturday. the car is fun to drive and it handles well.

Crap... I will not be at the MORE event. I am heading to Laughlin to check out the SCORE race. BTW. why change to a single seater? What are the advantages of having a single verses double seat car?

For me it was hard to get someone to be able to ride an entire event, to make a pit stop just trying to get a new co-driver kills at least 5 minutes, and if you look at any of the recent races the difference between 1st and 2nd is less than that. Another reason for the switch is I dont have to worry about hurting another person, I had a buddy of mine that hurt his back and I felt really bad because it was my fault, I drove into a hole in Lucerne way too fast. I must say that the 2 seater is more fun to drive because you get to share the experience, and this next race I will split the driving with my uncle. It should be a very fun race.
