THANK YOU DRIVE VOLUNTEERS! The volunteers of the inaugural DRIVE/TROPHYLITE 200 were outstanding in every way. Many volunteers were return V4DR volunteers, along with some new faces....many who used to volunteer back in the FUD days. You all performed flawlessly, and worked together like veterans! You could have been anywhere on Jan 17th 2009...but you chose to be with us...making history in Plaster City! I have never seen a more organized and dedicated volunteer staff. Everyone was exactly where they were supposed to be..when they were supposed to be there....and stayed all day. I hope to see you all back out in PC on March 21st. Thanks to whoever I am forgetting!!!
Volunteers, please send your favorite pics of the day to doug@drive-racing.com...we will post them on the website in the DRIVE-Racing.com Volunteer Zone.
DRIVE Ops clear!

I would like to personally thank all the checkpoint staff, road crossing staff, rovers and of course the DRIVE officials for making my job very easy. Each of you communicated information and issues via DRIVE Main professionally and to the point. I hope to work again with all of you throughout the 2009 DRIVE series.
A special thanks to Elite Auto Service for their support.

As I believe we were the very last car to finish, (we were not going to DNF the first DRIVE race), I can't say thanks enough to all of the volunteers who stayed out there to the very end, THANK ALL OF YOU!!!

Terry,
You did a killer job getting to the finish line! Amy and I were roving and saw you in Coyote wash around RM 25. You asked us to check your plug wires.
Thanks for coming out and supporting first DRIVE race and congratulations on getting the job done!

Are you the one with the yellow Jeep Rubicon?
Nope, but we were with them when the Blue Buzzard car stopped for a quick check.

thank you! jon and darren you guys did a great job yourselves.
it was great meeting everyone out there. i think it is obvious that
there was a good mix of people who were dedicated and responsible
enough to get the job done. there was alot of good team work going
on at this race from the top down. and things went well for this
race because of it. " knock on wood " see everyone at the next race.
