I am just throwing it out there---I am not a believer in ----------------CONTINGENCY----------
Having been OWED over 10k in the last few years we raced from some of the best of them---04,05,06, 16 wins, 4 championships
JIM CONNORS is the worst--
Brent King still owes us for 11 wins in 05'-06', 11x $100.00 =$1100.00------numerous phone calls and emails got us no where--
at the BATTLE OF PRIMM in 06' we won and it was posted we won almost 8 grand in prize money (contingencies) we got about 1800.
So My car is DECAL free except for those LOYAL people, and they are few, who help up front---'
NOT saying that it isnt a good thing to have them just most dont pay---or you have to spend a 200 to get a 100 in credit
not like the old days (1980's) when you could make a living on them-----------
dont even get me started---
Dave Bolles is doing a SUPER job on this and there are alot of GOOD people involved--
I was just throwing out some names---
If I was going to "hussle" some product it would be for "MY" car-------
Some of the GOOD GUYS
FOX Shox, ORW, McKenzies
these people have the check to you in a few days--------------
I am sure you have a reply to this but with 59 wins I think I have a little experience in dealing with trying to collect !

I wrote at least three different letters with flyers to each of the current MORE-SNORE contingency vendors including your list SAW, FOX, Connors asking for additional help this race. Close to 60 potential sponsors. Also wrote to VW and Hot VW's. Not sure of I got all the people I could have but we went after the group who could Class 9.
It was disapointing to not get a response from most but it is what it is.
Some of the MORE vendors already provide a base contingency and my assumption is they were good to go with the current offering.
We still have time for gather some more incentives and I have more marketing going out on the weekend.
The only vendors who came out for us to provide "extra awards" are on this thread. Each of them said very clearly they love Class 9 when they responded so use the services they offer.

ANYONE do a HOT LAP on the course??
Wondering what time they ran.
I figured about 1:35-1:40 for a perfect lap
With all the entries and dust it wont be the first lap--fast lap will probably be in the dark later in the race--lap 5- or 6--
less traffic, less dust and the race will be on for the win

Giti I agree that 10 hours probably wins it. Could be just under 10 for the winner but anything under 11 hours should get you a podium.

32 starters, 5 finishers in the time limit and another 14 racing till 0200am for 5-4 lap finishes.
I would estimate the winner receives close to $7k in cash and bonuses and side bet, and another $1k in products. Perhaps the largest class 9 single race payback to the winner.
