short answer: Yes it is possible....
check out f150online.com or something close to that. There are a bunch of guys who have done similar swaps. The 4.6 stuff switches back and forth with most of the 5.4 set ups. Good Luck

Possible, in theory it should be. Be prepared to spend big $$ to get the bottom end ready for boost and any other encounters you may come across.

You'd be better off with this: http://www.saleen.com/SC101_Services/SC101_Shopper/showItem.php?menuId=165&itemNum=10-1607-B15242*
I don't think there's an OEM intake manifold for the 3V engine that'll directly support the GT500's M122 supercharger. If you really wanted to use that you'll have to fabricate a custom manifold and at that point the cost to supercharge your truck might be cheaper going the Saleen route.

OK So the GT500s have DOHC 4v heads and 04+ 5.4L trucks have SOHC 3v heads. Since both 3v and 4v heads use oval intake ports it could work with some adapter plates, pricy ibismojo?? I'm guessin the complications of it all might be a bit much, goin with a roush, saleen, whipple, procharger might be the way to go...

If the intake manifold from the GT500 lined up somewhat well with 3v head, then yes, an adapter plate might work....but I seriously doubt the intake manifold will even be close to a match between the 3v head and the 4v head. Check out http://www.modularfords.com/forums, they'll have more info.
