Sheet Metal Roof?

I need to know if race trucks require anything between the roof cage and the fiberglass truck body to pass tech?:confused:

From the SCORE '06-'10 rule book:

CR37 DRIVER'S COMPARTMENT
...The driving compartment must be separated by firewalls or bulkheads from any acids or fuels. The roof shall also be covered with sheet metal or sheet aluminum (minimum thickness .080 inch) covering all areas.

you know the thing that i don't understand is SCORE has a minimum roof thickness but they allow either steel or aluminum - Steel is much stronger. Also you can have a hatch as far as I know held shut with a rubber band and your good to go
