We think we have a main seal leak. Trans is separated. Is all there is to taking out the main seal just popping a flathead in the 3 little places at two, six and ten oclock on the case there is to removing the main seal? Anything we should know before taking the seal out?

Thanks

I'll bet a lot of folks figure I could use a crank seal, for instance, 30 revolutions of duct tape around my head!
