4x4 R&P parts

anybody know where i can find a shop that sells used dif parts ? im looking for a rear randp for a 4x4 87 suburban, im not sure of the ratio, i allready have it disasembled, but being a vw guy, dont know much ..... How does the teeth count work for finding out the ratio.... ithink its 4 :11 ??

For all the work required to set up a set of gears, I would go new, as they are not that expensive. With a used set you will not know if they are any good until after you install them. My suggestion is a set of Superior gears from www.drivetraindirect.com (http://www.drivetraindirect.com) in Corona CA.

if you go with used a R+P make sure to ask what they had th backlash set at, the gears wil have a pattern worn already and you`ll want them isntalled the same way as they were previously.
