Thanks Kevin. Cody is starting with Beanerboy riding meat in the right seat, then Ffrancis gets the middle lap, with Beanerboy taking the wheel on the final lap with Cody as his dummy if everything goes as planned. Good luck to you guys, it is going to be a great race.

Well, not a great day`for the RPI Racing cars at Parker. The 1568 had a broken wheel take out the front brakes. Then a battery box broke out of the car and shorted the electrical. Then the front suspension went away. Shelby and Terry finished the 2nd lap, but the car was failing quickly, and 107 mph in the pouring rain was no fun.

1168 had a decent first lap with Cody at the wheel and Corey in the navigators seat. Cody brought the car around probably near the top 10, and turned it over to Ffaabulous Fffrancis and BDR Brian and off they went. Four miles later a nasty noise in the motor, which turned out to be a broken valve, ended the maiden voyage.

I would like to thank everyone who worked their butts off in miserable weather conditions to help us run with 275 other awesome race cars. Mike Goltz for doing a great job in the right seat, Chris and Pops Haney, Mike and Gary Nixon, Tim Derry, Carl Roland, Judy and Terry tolbert, Brian Coneen, Paul Keller, Jeff Cepielik, Jeff Smithhart, Tim Rockenbach, and many more that I am forgetting, thanks for everything.

Running this race is like nothing else, and after 4 times, I still love it.

Bummer deal Kevin. We succumbed to "One of those days" after having a really good through 2 laps. What happened to Cepielik/Keller (I heard a blown motor as well but not confirmed) and Silcock. Ran with him and "Real close to him" for 2 laps.

Jeff was out at mile marker 13. He already had two alternator belts go out by that time. He was passing an 8 truck and hit a hole and went over 3 times and took the front end out. He was fine and now REALLY loved his d-cell.

Silcock lost his motor in the python at the end of lap 2.

Not a good day for finishing on our end but no one was hurt which is the most important thing.

Thanks to everyone that pitted for us, THANK YOU, you are awesome! To my wife and PK, sorry; the frustration got to me and I ran out of talent... FYI, anyone running a Pro-1 alt belt beware. 2 brand new belts both gone in the first 3-4 miles, one was sitting on the skid plate snapped, mocking me and no it wasn't overtightened, the old Gates belt I put on worked fine as it had done for 100 miles of testing... Advice: Buy an HNR, it's well worth the money, trust me.
