Hi DRIVE volunteers!

It is now official...Brian Groff will be taking over as the DRIVE Volunteer Coordinator (VC)! Brian, along with his wife Amy were a tremendous asset to myself and DRIVE during the TROPHYLITE 200. Brian had much to do with assembling the “volunteer kits” and the overall killer success, which was the TL 200! Brian and Amy have more than 2 years experience volunteering at Plaster City races…and they know the ins and outs of being a volunteer. They will be doing all sorts of amazing things to help make sure your day of volunteering is a fun one!

I will be helping Doug on the Public Relations side of DRIVE while Becky Estrada recovers from her accident, and while I am working on some other ventures. Becky is doing well, but the recovery will be long.

Please welcome Brian as the new VC. Brian and Amy have lots of fresh ideas for the volunteers, and the RDC 250 is going to be a very fun race to volunteer at for sure!

Thanks agian to all the volunteers who came out in force, and made my job a smooth one at the TROPHYLITE 200! See you all at the RACE-DEZERT.COM 250

Jon

Here is the signature that Brian has for under his post "Start by doing what's necessary, then do what's possible, and suddenly you are doing the impossible". It pretty much sums up how he and Amy live their lives. Great people. Very much like Jon and Summer. Jon has moved on to help us in other areas with DRIVE. I am always wonderfully amazed at the group of people we have helping us. It's an unbelievable team effort.
