There a blast man... after fresh snow is the best, ripping in fresh powder is awesome, also their awesome to jump they get good air and have good suspension for soft landings.

Not at the ski hills, we have local clubs and we pay a yearly fee and get to ride on groomed trails, that connect towns, and have loops like around lakes or to scenic places. For fun we ride on the power lines there's hills to climbs and lots of places to rip around. For jumps and stuff we got to local sand pits or quarries there not using in the winter, and there tonnes of jumps in there and stuff, we normally ride the same places we ride in the summer on dirt bikes.

Totally random, my wife and I rented a couple in Tahoe for the first time last saturday. I've riden/owned fast quads, and owned crotch rocket or 2.
But the sno-mobile takes the cake, it was unreal how fast the one I rented was. (Artic Cat 800)
I don't think I could justifiy owning one, but I could definatly rent them once or twice a winter just to get out and blast around.
It was so worth the $250.

I don't own any, but they are fun. Around here it is no different than living in LA/OC....you still have to haul your toys at least a couple of hours away to get to the good riding. That is probably the reason I don't have any in my barn.

Hard Charger is right, they will blow the doors off of any quad out there. Ripping across a frozen lake at 100+ mph is a blast.
