it just came on cspan that the digital deadline was moved back to june 12. guess they could'nt sell enough of those mickey mouse converter boxes and widescreen tv's to suit them. i did'nt hear what their excuse was. what a joke.

They ran out of 'free vouchers' to get the converter boxes - Why does our tax money go to fund someone else's ability to watch television anyway? WAJ

This is a bunch of BS, and another government hand out.
People have had well over a year to prepare for the switch. It's been advertised on tv, radio, and in printed ads. If you can't get with the program, that's your own problem.
I'll say it again, personal responsibility has been completely thrown out in this country.

Funny thing is at Rite Aid you can get the digital converter for 10 bucks, no coupon needed.
