These model trucks were built about ten years ago as a gift to my dad from a guy that always went to the races with us before he moved away. They are great replicas of the class 6 Ford explorer and Trophy Truck Ranger my dad raced during the Rough Rider days. Hope you enjoy! Any questions or picture requests of other parts of the cars just ask and i will get them up here.

I think it took him about a year to do both. Here are some pics of the actual trucks.

I had an old Rough Riders poster of the whole team standing outside of an old saloon dressed as cowboys. The trucks were around them and there were tumble weeds blowing around. It has been about 16 years or so and I can't remember what happened to it. The RR's were my favorite.

The explorer is currently at our shop in Ventura County getting its last full prep before retirement. The original Rough Rider body will go back on. We are trying to get it as close to how it was back then.

Sweet stuff, I am building a single cab ranger model into a prerunner/race truck. Still deciding how extreme I wanna go with it, got the cage in place so far.
