I'm new to the recreational desert scene after moving past building custom show cars. I've been in the ATV and offroad scene for 2.5 years. I was referred to this site as a source for getting answers to questions by real-world experienced and professional folks about product performance, politically activity regarding keeping our deserts open and the like.
I currently have an '07 PSD F250 that's making ~500hp and ~800ft.tq. This is not my DD but is my tow rig for toy hauler and toys. I'm planning on replacing the basic 4.5" coil and single shock Icon lift kit that I installed last year for a better performing suspension setup that will allow us to enjoy flying across the dunes or desert while still maintaining towing ability.
My next post will be asking for feedback on the two different suspensions I'm considering and I'm hoping that forum members will share their experiences, suggstions, comments, etc. so that I make a good choice in the products I purchase.
