I am told by fellow racers and Promoters that the RDC is a good place to keep up with what's happening with all of the offroad racing series going on today. I was new to Short course offroad racing last year in a Alumicraft/Redline Pro-Buggy (What a freaken blast). I was invited to drive the 1565 car in the Parker 425 last weekend and I fell in love with dezert racing (the Wife and kids arn't so proud of the time I put in it though, so the jury is out as if I get to keep that seat or not). We didn't finish but almost made it half way till we ran out of car. I think this is as close to riding my dirt bike as you can get in a car and appears to be safer for now. The kids are racing the trophy karts, Chelsey raced CORR and M4SX last year and Travis starts this year racing with his sister. That is going to be fun to watch. I'm also new to the forum thing, not that I haven't poked around a little in the past but for the most part a newbe. No more babbling I must read on now.
