DRIVE Volunteer Team : Gearing up for the RDC250

Hi guys/gals,
I just wanted to put a post up to thank EVERYONE that has volunteered for the RDC250. This course is going to be BIG, and likewise it will require a massive amount of volunteers to make sure the race is conducted with safety and professionalism.

To all the members of the DRIVE volunteer team that helped out at the TL200 and are coming back for the RDC250:

YOU ROCK!

And for everyone that has contacted me personally or registered on the DRIVE website to volunteer with us for the first time:

THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Without you there is absolutely no way we could put on a race of this magnitude!

I will be posting the volunteer list with the positions on Sunday, after Amy and I get back from the Desert Clean-Up.

P.S.
Make sure to stay around after the race! We will be having a barbeque and getting together with all the volunteers (and racers) to hang out, trade stories, and play a little ping pong and horse shoes :D

We will alwaysl have cool stuff for the volunteers!

For everyone coming out that volunteered at the last race, please bring your red DRIVE volunteer shirt that we handed out at the TL200. We want race officials to be recognizable, both to the racers and everyone else. If you're coming out to volunteer for the first time we will have a DRIVE volunteer shirt for you (in addition to all the other cool stuff).

All of the people involved with the race yesterday were great.
Thanks to all of you. Even with a small field it is still very important to have all the road crossings and check points run like you guys did.
