Location: Knott’s Soak City Water Park
2052 Entertainment Circle
Chula Vista, CA 91911
The San Diego Region SCCA will be hosting a RallyCross at Knott’s Soak City Water Park on Saturday, April 4th.
Online registration will be open soon at www.rallydata.com (http://www.rallydata.com/)
(The entry link is located roughly two thirds down the page.)
We are finalizing a few details before opening. Also, for event updates and future schedule information please register your email address with the San Diego Region SCCA RallyCross at http://www.sdr-scca.com/mail/?p=subscribe
IMPORTANT
The SCCA requires all participants to hold either full membership or temporary membership for the day. If not a current SCCA member, the temporary membership forms must be completed at the Event Registration table and cost is $10 for competitors. Required for 2009, all passengers must also be SCCA members to take part in ride-alongs but the $10 day charge will be waived. Additional membership details will be available at the registration table.
A link to the events Supplementary Rules and Regulations will be posted shortly. This event will conducted under the official 2009 SCCA RallyCross Rules which can be found in PDF format at www.scca.com <http://www.scca.com/> . Please read them in their entirety. Car eligibility and allowances are outlined in the SCCA RallyCross rules.
To cover cost at this location, we really need to have upwards of 60 competitors in order to keep the entry fees reasonable. We plan to have a total four runs per driver: two runs clockwise, two runs counterclockwise.
Additionally, Knott’s Soak City Water Park is the location of the SCCA RallyCross National Challenge- West Championship on September 26-27. This event on the 4th of April will be the one opportunity to compete on this surface and gain valuable experience before the championship later this year!
More to come soon!
