Wow...I was amazed this driver walked away with nothing worse than a scratch on his cheek...

Lucky they weren't killed but that car is beyond dead.

amazing footage... glad they walked errr stumbled away...

whats insane to me is that it doesnt happen more often... those guys have great skill.

For sure, I wonder if the factory's have a certain amount of $ set aside for cars that get totalled? Like the race manager telling his crew at the start of the season, "Alright guys we can wreck 4 cars this season before we have to pull out". But to tell you the truth I bet the only reason he would lose his ride would be due to not totaling the car but that the team couldnt possibly move on. I bet they have at least 5 spare cars ready.

If that tree didn't stop them I think they would still be rolling now.
It looked like they still had a long way to go to the bottom.
The cage builder should get a bonus.

It looks like they made some improvements in the cage design compared to a few years ago when far less extreme impacts would have caused the cage to collapse.

Just looked at it.
Amazing that they survived not to mention minor injuries.
