Putting an Automatic in a 74 w/a I6

Anyone have an idea what Auto trans I could use in a stock 74 CJ-5 with I6 35 rear and 30 front. It has stock three speed with stock Xfer case. Any suggestions? Or where to start? It has a offenhauser Intake and two piece header with a Holley 600 duel feed. Would I need a new Xfer case?

The problem is your vehicle has a short wheelbase. The auto tranny is gonna be longer than the stick. I had a AMC 360 v-8 backed by a turbo 400 and my rear driveshaft was really short and had a steep angle. I think most people with cj-5's avoid installing an auto for that reason.
