Curt the points calulator you sent me says for short course. and since scoring for desert and short course are different is that what you used to get tese scores?

I have not finished ding all the math for all the classes, so I can't varify your results, just wondering.

Rich,

The numbers all look correct to me. If you scroll down in Curt's file you can get to the desert section. I don't know which file you got from Curt, but I think he had to make a change in the formula for calculating the 6 points for finishing/not finishing.

Sorry we didn't hang out, but we did make it home on Saturday by 8:00...

Rich, I'll send it to you tomorrow. It has 2 sections. The first section is for shortcourse and calculates the finishing position only. The second part calculates the points for the event and has 2 sections, one for shortcourse, one for desert. It takes literally 5 minutes to do the points for the class. And I've been double checking it against your calcs to see if I messed up and other than the 6 points for finishing that Bill found it's worked every time. Call me if you want me to walk you through it, I'll be home all night tonight(monday) and after 6 on wednesday, I'll PM you our phone number...Curt

Actaully if anyone want the calculator.....YOU NEED Microsoft EXCEL to run it......Her you go www.hayosmotorsports.com/files/Vorra%20points%20calculator.xls (http://www.hayosmotorsports.com/files/Vorra%20points%20calculator.xls) save it to disk and have fun......This is by no means approved by VORRA and should be used as a novelty only until the official points get updated by the officials yada, yada, yada Curt
