Cars have been getting better.

Word is RGM has abandoned TRD engines and engineering support for Triad. In my opinion, this is not a good thing.

Basically its an engineering firm that was created out of Bill Davis and TRD. They do alot of the Toyota truck stuff, and provided a lot of stuff to the Toyota Cup teams in 2007 and 2008.

Supposedly RGM will be top dog at Triad, and a press release is coming. Time will tell...

For the record, my friends at RBR were less than impressed with Triad, and MWR was not competitive until they stopped using the Triad designed chassis.

I hate to admit this, but I was really hoping that RGM would drop below the top 35 so RG would have to look at other options. But the exasperation on the radio the other night sounds like the eternal optimist is finally feeling the reality of it all. Sell the 7 team, shop and property to a contender, take on minority ownership in trade and lets watch RG race in competetive stuff.

It is interesting that it started out as a forum to voice any and every opinion, which of course changed somewhere along the way.

During the race chat, Robby had his tirade about getting back at AJ. TOG said he would not be able to post that part of the scanner replay. That bothered me a bit.

I should say though it doesnt bother me quite as much as the general lack of knowledge a good number of members have over there. It ranks right up there with the amount of people bitchin about Dale Jr right now saying he needs to be fired, is over rated, etc. He must be the most under-appreciated driver to ever win 18 cup races, :)

I love all of the "Everything is fine, why are you guys bashing him"...........Uh 34th in points, could not race his way out of the top 25 most weeks, has already changed engine suppliers and oh yeah, is still an underfunded single car effort......Shall I go on. The sad thing is, RG has the talent to run toe to toe with the contenders.

I don't know what the problem or solution is, but Jr definitely needs a shake-up. He should be adding to his 18, not finishing 1 spot ahead of RG!

Yup, I responded to a post about "How long can RG keep doing this" and he responded to my post and then deleted the entire thread... He also deleted my post about why would Fox want to show the guy 10 laps down having brake problems?? Sure there are 43 drivers in the field, but I'm guessing that 10 of those drivers bring in 95% of Nascars (& Fox's) revenue.
