934=33 spilne
934.5/935= 934 that the star has been broached for 35 spline.

thanks so is a 934.5 and 935 the same?

so is the shaft strength the weak length in a 33 spline 934 cv and not in the 35 spline 934.5 cv arrangement? basically why would you upgrade the shaft diameter but not the joint size?

All depends on the strength of the joint, if the joint can handle a bigger shaft, why not go bigger?

35 spine axles are stronger because of two reasons more contact area and Ryan from TCS also explained that the way he can cut a 35 spline makes them stronger then a 33 spline

Becuase the bigger it is the less it twists. The less it twists the more it beats up other things.

The 35 spline is stronger than the 33 spline because of diameter. The 33 spline is 1.37" dia., the 35 spline is 1.50" dia. There are ways to cut shaft splines to make them stronger than others, but the big difference is the diameter.

To a point. A 35 spline shaft can be made to have more twist than a 33 spline shaft, but it will take more power to twist it. The 35 spline shaft (designed properly) will also take more twisting before failure (cyclic fatigue).

so is a 934.5 and a 935 the same?

and do they all use the same bolt pattern?

.
They are all the same deminsionally except for the splines. The real name for them is series 21 CV's.

I thought the 934.5 and the 935 both were 35 spline.

Yes, they are. I meant between 934/934.5-935

Where is the best place to get the 35 spline centers?

...The real name for them is series 21 CV's.I see the use of "Series" all the time. Where did that come from? GKN calls them Size 21 (and Size 30, etc.).
