what about a "MISC" section in the classifieds???

with the market the way it is what if we added a section to the classifieds that was for misc things that RDC members maybe be trying to get rid of...

i think this might help people sell some of the items they might have laying around.. things like

game consoles...rc cars.. computer parts..stereo equip... ect..

its coming and is under development. For a couple of years I think about a rework for the classifieds. So I purchased some code, spend a week (read 7 days 12hours each day) messing with php just to take a break for another 6-12 month. Keep buying upgraded code and start over. It's almost a joke around my friends. This started around 2004 and I had lots of those innovative weeks that burned me out over and over. 5 years later and nothing to show for.

As of a couple of weeks I started over with a different game plan. Dedicate one day a week to it instead of multiple days in a row. I also have the project scheduled out in stages. Thursdays is my "project new classifieds" day where I dedicate all my time to it. No phone calls, no email, no rdc on Thursdays just coding new classifieds.

I am making good progress and the new classifieds works 98% but looks like crap. I am in the look pretty phase. You guys will dig it and it will have more categories beyond desert racing yet its no dull craigslist.

Craigslist is visually dull but it works... I can only imagine the splendor of RDC classifieds beautiful and functional... just like the desert machines listed :D
