So, I bought a J & R adapter from the classifieds. Its just a 2.2 ecotec to VW trans adapter. It came with hardware, but no flywheel. So, i'm trying to contact J&R to get the flywheel... my Email to J&R was returned... and their phone seems to be disconnected.... damn...

So, anybody know the current state of J&R Machine?

OR, worst case scenario, what do you think the chances of using a flywheel from one of the other adapter manufacturers...

thanks for the help guys...

Flywheel from Kennedy or Hecker Machine should be the same. They all have the same basic adapter, and they are all going to be the same weight for the motor. (within reason).

I'd recommend calling TurnKey. I think that's where I got the adapter from. They should have everything you need.
