watching the race for sure. double file restarts at a superspeedway is almost garunteed excitment (at least for the last 10 laps).

I'm gonna go out on a limb and pick a real dark horse this weekend. Jeremy Mayfield is gonna ADHD and Claritin D "bump" his way to victory!!!

Haha I kid, I kid. About the victory anyways.

i've just started followin the sprint and nationwide series now we got it on free for view channel...first race i watched was kyle busch cryin about a 2nd place finish and rudely stormin off from camera..so i've tuned into daytona rootin for ambrose , only to see busch SLAMMED into a recycled coke can ! bwhahaha... what a finish ! half of em slid over the finish line backwards !

they did a story on Marcus a few weeks ago on 60 minutes here , they asked RG in the pits what he thinks of marcus , he cheekily goes " marcus who? whats he do? " he kicks your a s s Robby ! thats what he does...

for all of you who didn't watch. Tony Stewart got the pole, Tony stewart led the most laps, Tony stewart was out first on every pit stop, Tony stewart won the race.

awesome finish. Go Tony!

How about that Caution with 15 to go for no apparent reason. It was NASCAR trying to bunch of the field. They didn't even say it was debris or anything. Total BS. But, it made for a good showing with KB getting tossed into the wall.

And I am done watching NA$CAR due to the crappy job TNT is doing. Cheap digital gimmicks and a huge section of the screen lost to constant ads and trivia...this sucks and I am done.

spot on mate , hey , I've always had RG as my fav driver in my profile ! I hope ambrose wins one soon , he's a lot better on the left and right turns from his touring car days here in aust.

at least you can still watch the race going on during commerials. I like it, just like when they did that for the indy races. all racing should be that way IMO, eff the commercials, we know they pay to be there, but dang every two minutes and another commercial.

And KB did it to himself, TS held his line, too bad Kyle, you wadded up another good race car for the Coach. and several others as well.

Great job for Marcus.

MM good luck next race.

Whether it was a car that was not very good because they didnt spend the time sorting it out in practice, the driver being afraid to mix it up, or a mix of both, I lost a lot of enthusiasum for the #7 team after watching this race. I did not have a chance to listen to radio communication, so I do not have all the facts of what did happen. But when you wait until 10 laps to go to even try to move through the field, and your supposedly on the radio (second hand info, not sure if its true) commenting every other lap there is going to be a wreck, you are not racing. Net result? 22nd and a wrecked car.

On the other hand, Ambrose continues to impress me. JTG did the right thing when they signed a contract to work out of Waltrips shop, they have given a good driver tools he can work with. I will always support Robby and his endeavors trying to move mountains with shovels, but this race was particularly painful to watch.

if memory serves me right, they only do the wide open coverage for 4th of july weekend. so, there is no reason to watch it on TNT... and even with the wide open coverage, the commercials were still annoying.
