Here is my new RC51 after someone hit me in the carpool lane last week. Don't you just luv it when people cross the double yellow lines to go from the fast lane into the carpool. It still had paper plates. I'm alive but recovery is going to be slow.

If you are one of those people that cross in and out, hopefully this will paint a picture of why it is illegal to do it because I was the 1% who got to stick around. I don't mean to lecture here.

hope you didn't break a humerous! I broke mine in dumont in january 2003 and i'm still out of comission! 7 months and counting..... good luck w/ the recovery

Luckily I have no broken bones, don't ask me how I pulled that off. I mostly have road rash, bruises, soft tissue trama, etc. (and I was wearing all the proper riding gear) I still don't know all my problems yet as I still need to go to a few other specialists and have tests done. I mostly have lower back and ankle problems right now. I walk about 1 mph right now, hopefully by the weekend I'll hit 2 mph http://www.race-dezert.com/vb3/attachments/old/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I'm just glad to be around. I just got the CHP report today and the lady who hit me said that she was running 20 minutes late for an appointment and crossed the double lines to get into the carpool lane to make up time and I came out of no where.

I hope she has good coverage because I'm taking her for all she's worth !

Wow, that really sucks. Good luck with the the recovery. I allways try to look out for bikes when i drive and remember where they are until they pass me. Its scary out there and when i get my dual sport i wont be looking foreward to playing dodgeball with the 2 ton balls.

Adam it's at the Cycle Gear on Lake Forest on Fridays. Starts around six but most show up around seven. They raffle off some stuff, last week was an ok jacket and some shirts. It's pertty cool. i love kawi. im diehard team green!! used to have an old KDX that i rode the hell out of for 12 years and it didnt break on me once. i broke myself on it a few times though;) but the KLX is a dream to ride. ive done a few mods to it but nothing drastic so far. i love all the torque.

Here is a pic of my 90 Lt-500.Riding this bike is a blast!I Put the Paul Turner pipe with the Fat Boy 2 tip,and the PT pyramid reeds.Ohlin rear shock is nice but without the fronts to match it will just have to be.

just a question for anyone who might have the same bike; do all of them come w/ that extra weld on the side of the swingarm?(you could see it in the picture above). because the other side of the bike doesn't have that. just wondering if it's a defect or something?

Nice street ride Roadmap!

Here's a pic of my 1985 FZ 750N that I purchased brand new in 1985. This bike is what started it all on the crotch rocket scene back then. This bike was not legal for sale in California at the time along with the RZ5 and thanks to Dick Landfield, Owner of Enduro Racing, he found this bike for me in Indiana and was able to secure it for me. I had to register it in Nevada first before bringing it to California as a used bike. Yamaha only produced 800 of these bikes to qualify for the super sport class and you will notice this is not a Genesis model. Different paint scheme and all.

And it's For Sale as we speak! 12K original miles and it is show room condition.
