As much as I love anything LeMans related, there is no way that documentary can replace the original.

There is only one "LeMans."

I caught the film when it was on ESPN. It is a fantastic documentary.

Fo the last 20+ years I believed that the original LeMans movie was the dreatest race movie ever made (I am a sports car racing junkie) this Truth in 24 movie surpasses it big time!

Both do an amazing job making you feel like you are getting in behind the scenes, like you are part of the racing community and even part of the team. But LeMans is a scripted movie and you can see it and that has always made it a little fake. The new movie is 100% real.
