The pictures below are a testimony to a good ball joint. The right front corner of my car had a 5-1600 land on it in the last race. I thought the only damage was the "J" shaped tie rod. WRONG. You can see how the shaft bent, but DID NOT BREAK! In fact, I drove another 120 miles and won the race. These pieces are available just about everywhere: Kartek, Mohr Performance, BAP, McKenzies, etc.
