Brian & Amy,
I am with you guys, I can't wait for this race either and I know several others that can't!
It is our pleasure for sure you guys have treated us well, and the races of course are a blast to help out with! Exactly how many more volunteers do you need as of now, what positions do you need, & when do you need the list by? I am going to start spamming people next week about this to get as many volunteers out there as I can. The word has spread about the last race so I am sure getting more people together will not be a problem.

Hey everyone!
Amy and I have been calling/Emailing to confirm with the DRIVE Volunteer Team, and we've got the ORW Grand Prix list together. Amy will be posting it when she gets home from work today.
A huge THANKS AGAIN to everyone that has come together on the Volunteer Team to help Doug put on a killer off road race in one of my favorite places to spend time (Plaster City!). Doug really busts his butt to put together a great course and to make a race that is new and exciting, but come race day the real responsibility for making the race a success lies with all of the DRIVE Volunteer Team.
You guys/gals are AWESOME!
Thank you so much for your time, commitment, great personalities, and professionalism. Everyone out there on race day that is wearing a red DRIVE Volunteer shirt is the reason DRIVE ROCKS :)
See you all in the desert!

Well the race is just about a week away!!!!
The DRIVE Volunteer Team is in full ATTACK mode for this race. Thank you to everyone on this Volunteer Team roster.
For all the racers: Race day expect to find a sea of red DRIVE Volunteer t-shirts on the course making sure that the ORW Gran Prix is run in a safe and professional manner. From Checkpoints to Road Crossings, to Rovers, the DRIVE Army will out there to cheer on each and every racer as well as ensure that the race is run safe and fair.
A HUGE thank you to Jay Langley at Off Road Warehouse for supporting DRIVE and helping us to put on another killer race. I means an awful lot to us that someone like ORW would believe enough in what we are doing to offer their name and title sponsorship to our race. Thank you again ORW!!!!
So here is the DRIVE Volunteer Army as of tonight. Amy and I are looking forward to see everyone out in Plaster City.
After the race-day Volunteer meeting it's GAME ON!!! :D

Just a few little changes and one addition to the DRIVE Volunteer Team for the ORW race.
Doug has already posted about this, but I think it's really cool so i wanted to say a little something as well.
We have a new Emergency Medical service provider for the DRIVE races:
TRISTAR FIRE MEDICAL SAFETY LLC.
This is really a big step up for us in providing emergency response to any racer anywhere on the course. These guys do the emergency response for BITD and SNORE as well as NASCAR. They have emergency equipment and vehicles that allow them to get out to an injured racer rather than bringing the injured racer to emergency response.
To top it off, we have a DRIVE Volunteer that is going to be scout for these guys while they are watching over us on race day. Avery Moler is our Emergency Response Coordinator. He has been roving for DRIVE as well as helping Doug and Larry with course recon from the beginning. He grew up in the Imperial Valley and knows the Plaster City area like the back of his hand. He is also an EMT and a volunteer Fireman. Avery will be helping the Emergency Response guys get to any emergency situation on the course without having to spend precious minutes figuring out the best/safest route to the emergency.
A big thank you to Avery and TRISTAR!!!!!
DRIVE knows that a great race is a safe race, and we're doing our best to improve on this every opportunity we get.
Thanks again to all the DRIVE Volunteer Team!
Can't wait to see you guys out in the desert :D

The El Centro MX / Off-Road Club will be at the contingency as well accepting donations and selling stickers. Our stickers are 4"X6" I would love to see some people representing on their race vehicles, cars, trucks, trailers, kids, dog, etc... Ok maybe not the kids and dog but you get my point. The stickers are going to be $10 each with all proceeds going to help us out with maintenance for the track, kids track, and truck course we have on the base outside of El Centro.
Also if you are not going to be at the race but would still like one shoot me a PM I will take a paypal payment and ship them to your door for $10 each as well.
Here is a picture of what they look like. Like I said they are 4"X6" and are a nice quality sticker made by the people at Bear Designs.
