The journey for the 24 Hours Of Lemons Buttonwillow has officially begun.:cool::cool::cool::cool: How do I know? Because I just packed 12 vintage "Penthouse" magazines to bribe the judges with. :D

I land in San Diego in a few hours and visions of Lemons glory are already dancing in my head....

Im bummed we didnt get to do alot of the little things we wanted to do! just ran outta times but it turned out OK. Wheels turned out awesome! a little spray paint and there as good if not better than KMC plus they are 14.7 pounds per combo lighter

I diddnt write anything.... I just made the Red arrow spinner. and I got white paint markers to draw the rest. It can either bolt directly to the car or hook on with some magnets.... I almost forgot....

The UNDERGROUND went to bakersfield for shenanigans and cocktails. Got back to the hotel at 3. Our wake up call is at 6 and we are gonn meet kyle and his crew at the gat to get a primo pit spot... We wanna be by the penalty box so we can watch the dunk tank and Kyles team get brutallly punnished by the Judges....

We are going to dinner in a little bit and then gonna get some drinks....

The Dunk tank arrived right on Schedule... Fish and loomis got some practice laps but the shut the track down B4 pat and I could get out there.

Pics will be comming later tonight and tomorrow. It was kinda busy today for us... 3 hours sleep and all.

In summary... We are looking good for the weekend...

Good times last night and about to head out for some more in a bit. Will try and post some pics tomorrow sometime. The track is FAST, over 100MPH in a couple spots. There will be some good racing thats for sure. And yes its so awesome that we are already 1 lap ahead of AGM, we were trying out best when they were going through BS tech to make sure the judges saw all of their non stock stuff.

Green Flag has dropped with Pat Dailey behind the wheel. Roger will cycle in next. Roger's pre-runner is THE pace-car! He took the judges for a hot-lap in the pre-runner to avoid some penalty laps so it sounds awesome!

The track is high-speed I guess and AGM is there as well as Josh Baldwin..... sounds like a good weekend so far.....

Haven't done any fuel runs with this motor setup ( smog equipment removed and fuel mixture enrichened) so the boys are a little scared of fuel mileage.. Just gotta run it and see what happens. Hoping to get 2.5 hours atleast. Went over 3 before.

Looks like the AGM guys ended up 36th. Not bad for their first go.

Last few laps were a battle! The first and second place cars where on the same lap, just a few seconds apart. There was a dogfight and the crowd was roaring. Closest race in Lemons history culminated with the lead car rolling it on a blind turn with just a couple turns to go!

Everyone who tries this gets the bug, bad...

The Judges like us and laugh that we keep entering our car because they say a Z will never win lemons. I told 'em before, and I keep telling em... We are racing the Z at every race till we win....

A top ten finish is still better than a break ,with all the stuff that goes on in these races just like desert the terrain/track is the biggest part of the race .

Krider racing has a fleet of acura integras and a 30 gallon fuel cell And 2 drivers a day .
Eyesore Pimping has been to 6 races and got 1 first and one race they were in first til 20 minutes when they blew motor.

I'm not to trying to bust your balls ,you guys are kicking ass and your time will come .

I hear ya Chris.. No worries brotha! We are definately not the fastest guys at the track.. Just trying to be fast consistantly. No down time and fast = win.

Assuming we don't roll it on the last lap! Lol

Tip, I'll post up some pics of the heads when I get them back on Wednesday. Fish, Tony and I pulled them off Saturday. Besides the normal cracks these things are known for, exhaust valve in cylinders 2 and 4, had a quarter of the valve erroded off on the side facing the plug.
