Due to the nature of the shortcourse scoring system these are rough estimates using some assumptions,,,,

Now the assumptions are, Broc, Bill, Patty, and Greg all completed all the laps in the first moto giving them completion points for that moto. Patty, Broc, Bill, and Matt completed all the laps in the second moto giving completion points for that moto....And the points are doubled for this race also....

These are way rough and although I think I understand the system, the issues of who completed all the laps of each moto compounded by the double points thing, the calcs may be off.... Curt

The race was way cool, Patty and Billy we're side by side again and Broc just slides that Ranger beautifully, Oscar had more of the unfortunate Prairie City mystery gremlins(truck just shuts off for no identifiable reason) that nobody could help him with, and Matt drove the wheels off his Toyota for another solid finsh. Greg had some rear end problems which made the truck a handful on left turns in the first moto and broke a front spindle in the second moto. Broc's truck just wouldn't run cleanly in the second moto after easily handing all of us our lunch in the first moto.

If you weren't here, you flat missed an auto race. It was a clean race, nobody lost a single body panel, even the slight rubbin Patty and Billy did didn't even penetrate a sticker!!! It's really nice to leave the race intact and without some of the heated discussions from earlier this season, thanks guys it been a very long season and only one more party I mean race to go.....Curt

Yes it was a GREAT race. John's still pissed at me for not forcing my way through, but many people have made it a point to tell me they were totally stoked to watch such a close and clean race. I'm glad everyone was entertained. Looks like I blew my one and only chance to take back the championship from Patty! I know it sounds weird, but with all of the other variables from all the other races, all I had to do was complete that one pass coming to the white flag and I'd be leading the points right now. Now I'm too far back unless you guys don't show up or dnf both motos next time. Oh, and I'd still have to win.

I'll post a somewhat blurry video of the determining corner ASAP.

Gotta thank all the boys on the crew for busting azz like they do. "Snakebite" says hi.

It ain't over til it's over.....Patty's a bit hard to hold back(try impossible), and if you win we still have to finish both moto's with about a 4th place finish and as race 2 showed us, anything can and usually does happen. The only smart thing so far she won't let me put the 4-link on until after the season even though Steph and I got the lowers most of the welded up today, I'm going to keep working on her for it!!!. I hope Dan shows, Broc comes back and we get the rest of the regulars back for the next race since it's even more fun with more to share it with...My brother told me there was a fixed video camera aimed at where you blew the tire and Patty got up the hill, should have some good shots....Curt
