I am no where near ready to paint my Bronco but I would love to see some other colors on it. Lets see what you can do with this four door:

I will be getting rid of the side graphics and most likely do a solid color.

I guessing with my eye-chronometer that it's 138.8 inches.

You gonna put glass on it Chris?

Pretty good guess but it's 142".
Yep got the glass hooked up Brian. I'll be running Autofab's quarters, 3" wide 92-96 fenders and hood. Also have a good lead on race Generals 37".

Hey Andrew,
Yep that's my four door. It's actually not a Centurion, it's a Magnum. There were two companies making four door conversions for Ford, one company was Centurion and the other was Magnum Motor Coach. Both companies where within a couple of miles from eachother in Michigan I believe.

Thanks Andrew. Will do. It'll be a mild four seater prerunner at least that's the game plan.

Sounds good man. 4 seats is always more fun. Now by mild do you intend to retain leafs in the rear?
That thing would be SO sick 4 link'd with a mezzanine set-up... I doubt that's in the plans though for a "mild" build. I'll keep dreaming though... haha

ha ha ha I'd love to four link it but the pocket book doesn't like that idea. I'll be running Deaver leafs in the rear.

Looks like a good platform. Interior's already gone so you won"t have to worry about "trashing" it or anything.

Steve you're right, the 84 Bronco is getting more attention right now. It's been at the shop getting the engine cage done and the front fiberglass mounted. Should have it back by next week in time to head out to the MDR Race.
Here are a few pics:

Though I have finally gathered all of the front end pieces to convert the front 1989 clip to a 92-96 style:

I'm not looking forward to swapping out that front end though. Does not look like fun.

Well, you've probably already got your glass... but JUUST in case, check out the flares fiberwerx makes for them...

...I'm thinking about putting this glass on my centurion if I keep it

He has Autofab glass for it... I don't think Fiberworks sells the rears though.
SpareChangeRacng
November 25th, 2009, 09:02
either way - those rears are kind of fugly. Just like all the new "trophy truck" glass for the rangers. Personally I just don't get it...
Front on that one is pretty cool, but there is something to be said about simplicity when using that 92-96 front end.

Hey Andrew,
You can get that rear quarters and even the front end through Speed Unlimited. I'm going to be stopping by to pick up my 84 on Friday so I'll ask John about that fiberglass set up. I hope you keep that Centurion. Looks like it could be a really cool ride. I have to admit the Fiberwerx glass has really grown on me. I didn't like it at first but now I do. In person it looks even better.

Yeah. I like the fiberwerx glass. I actually really like the raised glass in the rear... it gives you a couple more inches to stuff bigger tires up in there at bump if your running a wider axle and 37's
But yeah, I'm in the MIDDLE of a full build on another truck right now, so I can't start building my centurion for at least 6 months to a year. I posted an ad, so in a couple days it'll b up. I'll see what kind of offers I get..... if someone offers me a really nice price I'll go with it, but if not I'll keep it. I NEED to figure out that roof issue I was telling you about though. Here's the picture you asked for tho...

Lets ripe off that vinyl roof and wire wheel the roof to clear off some of that rust. Let me know if you need some help. I'm totally game to help out.

Watch out, you might find something under that vinyl roof you don't like. I've seen a lot of coach builders do some gnarly work and cover it with vinyl.

I'm sure there is going to be some bad stuff under there. Almost all four door broncos seem to have roof problems but better to address them now before the rain comes in. Here is some pics of my four door's roof:
