STOLEN VEHICLE AT THE OFF ROAD EXPO

At the OffRoad Expo on saturday a JEEP CHEROKEE(XJ) 1988(i think) Was stolen from the parking lot.

You see anyone with this vehicle call (714)504-JEEP

The license plate on it is FLEXJ (california plates) and it has NO doors

I'll be suprised if there isn't a lot more reports of theft from the expo. I couldn't believe some of the stuff that was just left out all weekend! I know there are security guards there, but we had banners and calendars stolen right of the side of the trailer! (Like they didn't know Duct tape meant they weren't giveaways... lol)

Also, I know quite a few vehicles were towed that were parked in bad spots, we had a really hard time getting the riders and staff parking spots.

I know that in years past vendors had problems with theft so this is nothing new to the Expo. More and more vendors are requesting spots in the aisles and not on the ends so they only have to protect one side of their booth instead of three. Last year a ton of stuff was stolen and I think this year wasn't as bad because more vendors were ready for it. I talked to quite a few vendors this year that had problems last year and with a little extra effort nothing major got ripped off. It's typical and sad at the same time. ZIP ties and tape won't stop these guys either... hopefully future show info packets will be honest enough to say hey, we've got a problem with punkass theives and all vendors need to understand these punks will do whatever they can to steal your stuff so BE PREPARED! Lots of vendors are so concentrated on the show they don't stop to think that their wares are getting ripped off right in front of them.

Don't be surprised if it turns up only a few blocks away from the fairplkex somewhere in Pamona. My buddy got his Toyota stolen a couple weeks ago, he lives on the edge of Diamond Bar and Pamona. They found it only a couple miles from his house, stripped though. Things stolen in or near Pamona, usually turn up in Pamona...

Get this-- Jeep was found yesterday morning by San Diego PD...details unknown but the vehicle was almost on "E" at the Expo-- either the theifs filled 'er up or trailered it out of town...apparently, it wasn't damaged or stripped.
