View Full Version : RHINO Overheating Question!

I have an 06 Rhino 660 with a big bore kit on it. I have been battling overheating issues. I have installed the larger radiator with larger fan. I think I finally narrowed the issues to air bubbles in the cooling system. I bled the system by jacking the front end up and taking the bolt at the inlet to the motor, but somehow air is back in.
Any ideas on how to rid myself of this issue?
Thanks

There are pressurized filling systems for cars, will they work on a small Rhino neck rad?

Good be air in the lines, also the oil cooler mounted in front of the rad isnt the best set up......It could also be a head gasket issue. You should go post your question up on www.UTVUnderground.com You will get lots of solid answers.....

you have a head gasket issue, most likely.
is it losing fluid? or pressurizing your system? does it fill the overflow tank when getting hot?

It is filling the resevoir and I am losing coolant, but figured it is pissing out of resevoir when hot. I see it pissing out. Also no signs of milky oil and no water from exhaust. Still has all its power as well.
Thanks for helping, I am scratching my head at this.
