Headed down to Bay of LA and CoCo's from San Felipe. Running stock tires on a stock Ranger XP. Has anybody made this trip in a stock Ranger or Rhino and if so, what would be a good tire pressure for 2 guys(400lbs) and 100lbs of gear. How about mpg doing 45-50mph on the highway and dirt roads?

Any info would be great. I think I have all the necessary tire repair equipment and taking 2 spares but I did not want to invest in tire balls

In my Rhino I ran about 14lbs-15lobs of pressure. That was with 2 guys and atleast 100lbs of gear. Didnt have one flat!! But bring a spare tire and a spare CVT Belt!!!! You may need it. Make sure you have all neccesary tools to change it as well. Gonna be a long ride in an XP! BTW XMF out of Arizona makes a sweet Ranger XP Long Travel kit! Xtrememf.com

Good luck! Make sur eyou take pics!

What year is your XP?

As a person who has spent a ton of time in Rangers and RZR's, I can tell you that you will be totally comfortable. That run to Bay of LA isn't tough at all unless you take some secret, goat trails. Have fun and let us know how it goes.
