Hi....I am from Missouri, where of course there are no deserts, therefore I am a rookie in this scene. But, I have been involved in racing of some sorts most of my life. I have been following Nascar as far back as I can remember, since the early 80's, and travel to Nascar races frequently. I also have been in a pit crew for oval dirt track team for over 20 years. Absolutely love the dirt. Raced a little MX when i was younger(got my first motor cycle @ 5 yrs old).
Long story short.....I got a chance to drive a chase truck during the 2007 Baja 1000 for a class 30 moto team, and needless to say,......I am now FULLY HOOKED!!! Hope to some day make it back there. I have told most of my friends that I would probally give up Nascar and dirt racing forever, for a chance to go back to Baja and do it again! The adrenilaine rush was like no other I had ever experienced. I have been reading on RDC for several years, and just decided to join. I thoroughly enjoy it, and hope all you desert people can accept a down home Midwesterner.....even without our deserts. Thanks!!!!!
