Hey folks,

Im converting my old race truck into something i can run out in the eastern plains of CO, maybe even race it in a few 100 MI races. Depending what classes our track will have.

Currenty i have a 16Gallon fuel cell directly over my rear differential, it worked well for the circle track i was running on

Question:
Do most of you place the fuel cell In front, above or behind the rear differential for off road?

NOTE: My radiatior will end up in the rear behind the cab also to try and balance some weight out

2wd LWB 1/2 ton chevy

thanks for reading

My cell is mounted directly behind the cab. Its mounted there instead of behind the axle because i didnt want a large weight difference that far out when the cell is full vs. when it is empty. It all comes down to personal preference and your cage design.
