I am a 52 year old father of two (grown but still living at home) children and married to the same woman for 28 years. I live in the Imperial Valley and a year ago purchased a fiberglass dune buggy on a full '69 pan with a full cage. I am in the process of updating things like the suspension, tranny and engine. I have a 6" wider front beam and I am saving up for 3x3 trailing arms, disc brakes, shocks, and tranny. I am stlll trying to decide how to push it around the desert. It currently has a 1500 single port. There are all kinds of directions I could go.

- How you got into desert racing. - I have always been fascinated by off-road racing as it is more than going around a track. It is battling a changing terrain while trying to keep the car together.
- How you have found this website. - Introduced to RDC by a friend.
- What vehicle you play with. - See above (also have an '08 Honda Ridgeline - not hardcore off road but it does win its class at the 500 and 1000).
- Your future plans in respect to desert racing. - I am currently volunteering with the Drive series at Plaster City.I was at all the races in their first season. I am hooked. I would love the chance to race but I don't think that will happen unless I win the lottery (and I don't gamble).
- What keeps you busy during the day? Job, School etc. - I am an elementary school teacher teaching students with mild to moderate learning disabilities.
