window nets in bajas....

what is the proper way to install window nets in a vw baja? fastened to the doors (but still able to drop the net) or attached to the roof and door bars? its easier to install to the door but in a violent crash the doors could fly open rendering the nets basically useless. maybe some one has pics of them install to the cage?

thanks for the help, i've searched but didn't find much vw specific results........

deist has a kit that snaps to the door it self with steel buttons that is the best way to go the doors flying open wont be an issue with the secondary latches installed
