Hi my name is Jesse and I love going fast in the desert. Haven't had many chances to do such but one experience that really fueled this desire was on my honeymoon with my wife and we were able to do the Wide Open experience down in Cabo and I was hooked. I currently have a 06 tacoma double cab which I have done all the work on myself which was something I never thought that I would be able to say. I installed the Camburg long travel with 4WD then at the same time I plated the rear frame rails and removed some cross members added tube bumpers front and rear and made it so I could mount spare tires in the bed then when they arent in I can put the bed back in and still use it as a daily driver. It has fiberglass fenders from glassworksunlimited. i just love driving it since it also has the TRD supercharger and a whole bunch of URD upgrades. Real fun. Right now I am going to College for mechanical engineering and have to sell the truck to pay off some bills and then later on buy another one and I hope to be able design and build a long travel kit for the front and really get into racing and have some fun. We will see how that all pans out.

I also really enjoy coming on the forums and reading and learning. Also have to say that I am impressed with the desert communities willingness to teach and help those who are seriously interested. For me the one person that really showed me that was Tim at DMZ fab. I was down in southern California for a vacation with the Wife and Tim took time out of his busy day to show me what he was working on and just talk with me. Truly a great representative for the community. I don't know if he is on this forum but I thought I would just share that.
