Hey peeps i am about 3/4's through with the revamp of my race rhino. I will be posting pics of the build here in this post. What i am really looking for is bodywork for this thing. I need to get a hood and bedsides for it but i cant find any that is wide enough. If anybody has pics of some sick glass for the front, post em'.

PS this thing will kill it when its done. Corry its on!!! gonna smoke ya! haha, kyle!

How wide is that thing?? I'm actually going Fullbore this time, and they are wide enough for mine - I think there is someone who makes some fiberglass hoods for Rhinos, but I will have to see if I can find some info for you.....

It's on like Donkey Kong! ;)

On rhinotalk.net you can get the fiberglass ones(fullbore replicas) from a guy that uses the name greenmachine...they're the same ones joeyd23 on here has on his ratrhino.

Kyle, a few options. The guy who made my one off hood can modify any hood you want. I own a Rhino but we went with tis custom glass Teryx design he made and widened it and did things I wanted done to it. I can PM you his info, he is off of Newport by Canyon Lake.

Or you can get with Magnum Off Road and have them get down on a hood like this for you which is a full bore fiberglass replica and has been widened. Best looking rhino hood ever IMO

I just got my SR1 rhino running yesterday, sounded so mean with straight exhaust! Cant wait to get these things out there and racing!

Are you running the SR1 demo the end of January at Milestone?

I got these Baja Designs Fuegos but I think they block too much airflow...check it out

What are the rules for this hood problem im having. i could make one that the tires actually go up inside of so that it looks to scale and doesn't look like an old style R/C truck. we just loaded up for elsinor so I will take pics tomorrow. dont want to give away my secrets though!! thanks for the info peeps

I dont think there is any rule on hood design Kyle. You can run any hood you want.......Get a fiberglass hood and have it split.....I set mine out to fully tuck.....

Call Ryan at painted rhino he has some crazy rhino stuff.
He can do fiberglass, Thermoform (like mx plastics). Used to do most of weekend warriors trailer fiberglass, and does stuff for full potential.
He is in riverside area

nope! think i might have trailer products build a new clip. i want it to be wider then the tires, like real truck! I think it would look sick with a wide fender and ground effects. wait til i post the new pics of my p4 body!!!!! OOOOHHHH WEEE, gonna be epic and hopefully set the trend in off road to go more arrow. ill keep you posted on the design. Trailer Products in Hemet will be my boys that create this for me, cant wait!

When is the p4 body going to be done? I think a truck looking body on a utv would look sick. I hope that is the route you are going.

It sure is. The thing is immaculate in person too. I think the guy that built it was involved in the original design of the Rhino.

That beast was at SEMA also, in the RCD booth. If I remember it right, it was built for the owners 12 year old son. Already had his name on it as well. If I was in the market for a rhino, HOLY CRAP, it would be this one no doubt! STUNNING!

there is no hood width rule Kyle. there was/is a 72" outside tire width rule. I beleive DFR got approved with a wider one though :(

make your nerf's replaceable, you may need them that way! lol

good luck this year
