anyone tried something like this?

briggs n stratton 3 cylinder turbo diesel... comparable to a 950cc gas engine

they put one in a chopper on american chopper ... thought it would cool in a rhino

26HP and 43TQ? For as much as it weighs it's going to be a slug. An expensive slug. The Kohler would be better as it's 100#'s lighter and 1K cheaper.

...or a Yanmar! They make some of the best small diesels around.

I thought they did a dixie chopper motor, and it was gas.

I agree seems alot of weight for little gain and work.

the rhino already has similar hp, but not the torque. many have done a rotax 800 vtwin swap with great results.

still keep 4x4. smooth reliable and EFI. DOnor bikes come from Can-am Outlander or renegade ATV's
