those huge trucks that race and have 1200 hp are nuts. they were catching air too. that is some tough racing.

I want a Tatra for a tow rig. It'd be one of the few prerun motorhomes and still have the juice to tow a trailer. That's damn near 100% bitchin' [I have been warned] camaro in my book.

Speaking of pre-run motorhomes, I was just looking at the Condor that ran the 1000, 500, and other races on Baja Concepts. It's for sale. It would be a lot of fun if I just had bunches of $ to spend. If I had that much money to burn, I would love to do the Paris Dakar in the car for hire deal. I think it is $150,000 for everything, and you get to keep the car at the end of the race. Don't think I'll be getting this for Christmas though!

The "25 Years of Dakar" that speed vision has been airing was put together after last years rally. A great program! Notice they didn't say anything about the land mines. Anyway, lets not forget this years Baja 1000 Trophy Truck winner, Mark Miller, will be running the upcoming Dakar. If anyone gets any tidbits of info, let's keep it all in one thread in the "Rally" forum.

Just talked to my buddy Chris Crampton who is leaving the day after cristmas to go over and help Mark Miller in his Dakar eforts this year.......
