I have been sorting through all my stuff as I prepare to move from Chicago to California and I came across this old article. I had originally started building hemet mounted blowers in early 1982. The idea was to get air in the helmet without having to drill a hole into the side of the helmet. My real market ended up being the stock car folks racing on dirt. It wasn't until 1990 that I started building hose style systems.
