I have decided to go with LightForce lights for my Tundra, and would like to know of a place to buy them that is either somewhere close to Anaheim or pretty much anywhere in the 909 ( preferebly close to Hemet), or anywhere in between Anaheim and Hemet really. Also I am trying to decide if I should do 4 6.5" lights acroos the front bumper, or just 2 of the 9.5", what does everyone think? I am leaning towards the 6.5"s. Any information would be great, thanks in advance.

Personally I think the 9.5's look kinda funky cause they are so big! My favorite thing about the lights is you can make them whatever kind of beam you want!

I would get a hold of Kevin Davis who drives the Lightforce 7s truck. His sign-on for race-dezert is DMSRACE and he can sell you the lights.

If you dont find anywhere in CA Super Duty Headquarters (SDHQ) in Mesa AZ will send them to you free shipping. At least they did for me. 877-969-2929. Or www.superdutyheadquarters.com (http://www.superdutyheadquarters.com)

We just started running LightForce on our Racetruck and I have to say they are awesome lights. The adjustability, and the lightweight are really nice. Way brighter than the Hella 4000 we were using... Don't know why there are not more dealers???

Ryan at superdutyheadquarters is a great guy and they are a warehouse distributor for lightforce lights. They are in Arizona though.

I know you can get them from Outlaw Offroad in Irvine and they are actually really cheap there too.

Will a STOCK truck really go fast enought to need that many lights? Buy something you will appreciate everday like suspension or nice wheels and not something you will use for a few hours every month or so. Just my opinion. http://www.race-dezert.com/vb3/attachments/old/images/graemlins/wink.gif

No one mentioned the fact that they carry a life-time warrenty. Is that still the case Kevin? Also, the way I understand it, that is a warenty that does not care if the light was broke in a roll over or anything???

Thanks everyone, and thank you Travis http://www.race-dezert.com/vb3/attachments/old/images/graemlins/tongue.gif Don't worry, I am only getting a pair of the 170s at first ( 6.5"s) and I'll go from there.

Well I will be moving from Hella’s to Light Force too. At the night race I broke the lens on all of my Hella's (long story but not the fault of the lights). I called Kartek and got new lens. But they did not fit. Seems when Hella first came out they were made in Germany and shortly after they found they could get them made cheaper in Australia (this is from what I could tell, may have the places wrong but the scenario is right). The only problem is that they are different. So if you have the old style ones the first ones they came out with (you know the one that were close to a grand each). They are obsolete. There is one lens left at the factory then that is it. I then e-mail Hella it only took 3-4 emails back and forth for them to even admit that they were obsolete. Then once they admitted it they passed me to the next level. This only took anther 3-4 email to get an offer. Witch was about 1/2 price for replacements and I had to send them the old ones. I guess this was not that bad of a deal but since I had to fight so long to get it, I felt I might as will step up and go to a different manufacture. One with better customer relations.
If anyone wants to see the e-mails. PM me they are kind of funny.

I ran lightforce 9.5"ers on my hooptie for a couple years and never once burned a bulb. I remember when I first got them from Eric Lane and he threw one on the ground really hard, could never break it. Good choice.

Uh, yeah, a stock truck can use the extra lights... ever nearly roll over a sleeping cow in Baja? Made me a believer in packing extra lights on my next trip down south!!!
