Hope I get the truck fixed by saturday, little problem with an 5 year old lower balljoint and a whoop section at Rialto sunday. It left a nice trench though.

the bent lower arm, strut arm, strut frame, tie rod, possible bent lower arm mount may give me a slight excuse, but me and the truck will be there

March 6th, 2004, 06:33
The lower arm dug into the ground after breaking, I just replaced the ball joint and drove home,it was getting dark and i did not really look at it. Dan's truck did the same thing at a faster speed and destroyed the whole right side basicly. So i assumed the worse. a few tabs and the strut arm needed to be replaced

Three people entering?

Man tuff trucks was fun. Congratulations to Matt Helton on winning the jump contest, truck looked good all night. Pats truck also looked great, glad you got it back together in time. I was great watchin the 2wd yota showing up all the mud boggers with 40s in the mud pit and hitting the jump at the end.

Wanted to say "Congrats" to my son Matthew for the great show last night. His Mom and I were sitting right in front of the jump and it was really exciting to watch. We are definitely two proud parents who enjoy the off roading and good times with our son and his wonderful wife Chris!!!! http://www.race-dezert.com/vb3/attachments/old/images/graemlins/smile.gif

It was awesome to see the prerunners dominate. Too bad no one tried to clear the cars too. http://www.race-dezert.com/vb3/attachments/old/images/graemlins/smile.gif I felt out of place though there without a West Coast Chopper shirt a Budweiser, and a cig hanging off my lip. http://www.race-dezert.com/vb3/attachments/old/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Thanks for the cool post Matt. We had a blast! It was good to go out and run with cool people once again. I think everyone there had fun, and I can't wait to see the video of Matt going big off the long jump, I didn't get to see it in person. I heard it was huge! Anyway until next time see you all in Rialto.
