In returning from todays M.O.R.E race ( which was unreal) I was wondering why there isn't hardley any 7s trucks racing there series? In being fairly new to 7s I was just wondering with the growing popularity of this organization with other classes if any of the truck guys were willing to try something different. I would really like to run one of their races in the near future and wanted to see what you all thought. I know that they payback really well and with myself being on a very limited budget- a good payback could be the difference in running a couple of races a year to running most of them. $ talks if you ask me. Thanks Roger.

Yeah I knew that, but what about in the future? I'd like to find out what M.O.R.E would pay for 13 trucks entered? It would probably be a nice chunk of change.

Give it time, regardless of what MDR is doing. Jim started out with 9 cars at his first race of which one was the Fay truck. The Fay's were loyal to MORE until they handed over the truck to Diego. Jim's second race had about 15 cars, total. Now look at it. It'll happen over time. But I could be wrong, LOL.

We were their at the Balls out 250 on Saturday and ran their sportsman class. Their was one other truck in our Class (Old Hardin truck) and a buggy. We were able to finish under the time limit and take the win. Although the others did'nt finish in the time limit, Jim gave them trophy's for their effort. And normally sportsman class receivees a trophy only. But not Jim, we received a trophy and $100 off of our next entry. I've come up short at MDR numerous time's and never had them reward us with anything. I think this displays the great charactor of Jim and MORE racing. Oh and by the way I also received $500 from Mickey Thompson tires for fininshing first in sportsman. Now that is a first. Who ever heard of a contingeny company paying out to a sportsman! Thanks Tom for the great set of M/T tires they were awsome! The best set of tires I ever ran.

Hey Byrdman, thanks for the comments. I saw my old buddy Dwight standing their as we went by. I was surprised to see him their. Glad to see you guys out their! Hey if you have Dwights phone number could you e-mail it to me, or have him do it. I forgot to get it from him at Laughlin. theirongook@yahoo.com
Hey scott your right, we had some carb issues that just drove us nuts. We have some work to do on the engine to get it right. 4 mpg is not to good, that’s all we got. Pretty bad for a 4 banger. We were pretty surprised to have finished. We had to run the whole last lap with the left forward leaf hanger completely ripped off. If it looked like we were driving sideways, its because we were. As bad as we had it I have to tip my hat off to the guys in the white S-10 #1205, they completely broke their axle housing in 2 pieces, pulled into the Checkers pit, got patched up and continued on. Now that’s determination. Thanks again for your comments and hope to see you guys at the next race.
Later,

Hey Bro- I'm getting 3.5 mpg with my "little" 4 banger. Your truck sounded like it was loading up- Maybe a float issue? When you went up that hill at Hodge Rd.- it loaded up big time. Let me know what set-up your running and Maybe we can figuire it out.
