Its definetly a great kit. Camburg makes quality parts. It will handle pretty well to a certain extent, but I wouldn't suggest getting the wheels off of the ground.

For what it is, the Camburg 5.5 kit works awesome. You can't go wrong with it, just dont expect it to turn your cage-less truck into a Ocotillo Trophy Truck .. lol.
Check out www.dezertrangers.com (http://www.dezertrangers.com) as their is a lot of info on that kit there.

If you put a little money into it you can get decent performance while you save for something better. I've modified the steering to accept full heims as well as put a Fox 2.0 shock on it with some poly bumps. It's obviously not a full long travel kit, but it works a good deal better than the 5100's. I'm pretty happy with it for now, at least while I save for real suspension.

look into h&m motorsports in san marcos look in the links. he has a kit that will do what you want. it wont make it a trophy truck by any means but about as good as you can get with out having it custom built. the camburg kit is good for the strret beat with some offroading. but in my opinion not for long term prerunning. goodluck with it

if i had a ranger of any year id lookinto camburgs products. its very high quality and i know my share of guys with there beams and the 5.5 kit. the 5.5 kit works awsome i have ridden in trucks with it in ocotillo, lucern, barstow, glamis http://www.race-dezert.com/vb3/attachments/old/images/graemlins/crazy.gif and havasu. by no means is it a LT kit but it does really good for what it is.

"JUST CALL THE KING" brett at king is the man as far as im concerned we use his shocks on our race truck they work awesome and he is a nice guy to work with. have fox shocks on my prerunner only because they were on it when i bought it. have been working on dialing them in. i dont have any real complaints about them. ive just had good experiences with king.

Camburg builds an excellent product. It will deffinately take the abuse. But just remember putting some suspension under you doesn't make you a professional.
