Ihad surgery. a foot long titanium rod in my shin inside my bone and several set screws to hold it in place. im out for 2 months. This will deplete my savings but I will get by. My insurance is pretty good also so I am not all that terrified of the bills. Thankfullly I am nearing the end of my lawsuit and the settlement from when I rolled my 4 runner will help me get back on top. For now, I'm gonna watch a bunch of tv, read a couple of books and keep poppin my percocets. My job will be there when i get better also. Hope all is well with you.
My son broke either his Tib or Fib (cant remember which) when he was around 5 or so and the Drs told us that he'd be fine... and he is, but that if we (as 20 something adults at the time) had a similar injury it would require operations and prob 6 months to recover... Man with both the tib and fib broke you are gonna be laid up for quite some time! I wish you the best!!! Do you have insurance and can you still do your job? Or are you gonna have troubles there? Man I hope you'll be okay, I know first hand how much insurance and work situations suck!!! Take care, buddy!!!
Thanks for the well wishes Chris. My leg hurts so friggin bad. Even with my pills I still feel like I have a hundred "charlie Horses". Oh well, what are ya gonna do? Bones heal, chicks dig scars, pain is temporary, glory is forever!
